Wounded in Iraq: Shattered bodies, shattered lives

Having been hit as a pedestrian head-on by a recklessly driven Chevrolet Suburban going about 40 mph nearly three years ago, I know a little bit about pain. It is not fun. I am a walking miracle. So many of the unfortunates who trusted Bush as some kind of god and volunteered for the military are not faring nearly as well as I did.

This quote really stood out to me:
