New claims fuel US e-mail scandal

The lawyer, David Roth, said: "Mark has asked that you be told that between the ages of 13 and 15 he was molested by a clergyman. Mark will address this issue further upon his release from treatment."

Just a thought, but it's probably not a good idea to hire the former lead singer of Van Halen as one's attorney. Most Jews make good attorneys, but the last time I saw David Lee Roth, he was singing a "hoedown" version of "Jump" while fronting for a bluegrass band on Jay Leno.

I am thinking of how I might excuse any misbehavior in which I might be involved, not that I have been recently.

Here's my prefab, all-purpose explanation. I don't anticipate any antisocial behavior, but "Excuse me, I'm only human" as a line from one of my favorite songs goes.

A long time ago, I had to spend more than eight months inside a female's uterus. It was quite traumatic. And just as I was getting used to being there, I was, like Macduff (not to be confused with McGruff), "untimely ripped" from it.
