SWF'S - SAVIOURS OR HARBINGERS OF ECONOMIC APOCALYPSE?

It has long been a dream of the Kremlin for stronger ties with the Chinese, who up until Yeltsin's disastrous reign, viewed the Russians with caution due to the far greater military and economic power they represented against a backward underdeveloped China. However now that the roles have been reversed, allows for the possibilities of far greater co-operation between the two states as trade links continue to grow, both commercial and military.

It is nearly impossible to overstate the damage Cheney/Bush has done by orchestrating the "war on terror" paradigm against what is, for all intents and purposes, a totally nonexistent military threat, even if 9/11 was what his administration claims it was.

The last seven years have seen the U.S. spend itself into bankruptcy, develop and cement its status as the "bad guy" on the world stage and distract the masses in this country from the real "war" (which is economic and which the Americans are losing in a rout).
